RIMOWA Store to Web: Helpful Delivery, Awkward Tax-Free Claim

Store to Web fills a common retail gap. The advisor can help a buyer compare materials and sizes, then place an order for a configuration that is not on the floor and deliver it to a preferred address. That is materially better than ordering alone when a first-time buyer needs a physical fitting. It can also spare the buyer from dragging a rigid carton across a city. In the US, the FAQ describes standard and express delivery options, subject to availability at the participating store.

The advantage is advice plus fulfilment; the cost is a more complicated transaction. Inspect on delivery while there is still time to return to the ordering branch.

Document the parcel before use. Photograph external damage, the label, internal packaging and all sides of the case.
