What the lifetime guarantee is meant to cover

RIMOWA states that new suitcases purchased from July 25, 2022 are covered by a lifetime guarantee for functional aspects of the suitcase. That makes functional usability the key concept.

Cosmetic wear is not the same as functional damage. Dents, scratches, scuffs, and normal travel patina may be part of ownership rather than a repairable guarantee issue.

Pre-July 25, 2022 coverage is different
